Angela Evelyn Bassett (born April 15th, 1961) is an American actor. Since the late 80s Angela Evelyn has appeared in film and TV. Her work has been recognized with numerous awards including 16 NAACP Image Awards. Bassett comes originally from New York New York. Her home was Winston-Salem North Carolina. Bassett relocated with her twin sister in St. Petersburg Florida at age five in order in order to be closer to their mother and father, who had separated from their father. When she was in high school Bassett watched John Steinbeck's drama Of Mice and Men starring James Earl Jones and decided she would like to be an actor. Following her graduation of Yale University New Haven Connecticut in the year 1980, she earned the Bachelor's degree with a major in African American Studies, she was able to obtain the Master's degree (1983) from the Yale School of Drama. The year 1997 was the time she married Courtney B. Vance who was a fellow actor. Qualification: B.A. Degree in African-American Studies in 1981. Graduate in Fine Arts from Yale School of Drama School. Jordan Park Elementary School Disston Middle School (7th grade), Azalea Middle School (8th and 9th grades), Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett plays Ramonda as one of the major roles in action adventure film i.e. Black Panther: Wakanda forever (2022).
